Learn more about why Josephine was nominated to be the March 2025 Student of the Month:
“Josephine is truly a blessing. She’s active in school theater, tutoring, art and is always helping those in need. She brings so much joy and happiness to our little theater community and more. She came with so many fears, but has overcome so many of them! She’s honestly amazing… She has a passion for learning new things every day. Her future is bright and I just hope we get to continue seeing her blossom into an even more beautiful and kind soul. She is so kind to everyone she meets and always finds the good in everything. My biggest favorite thing about her is the best friend/sibling connection she has with our son. He lost his coach and grandmother back- to-back… Josephine has been his biggest fan during football, making friends and learning to be an advocate for himself… he is a shy dude. He’s grown into himself during this exchange year and (as I cry typing this), it’s a beautiful thing. They are best friends, and I enjoy hearing them talk football stats and her [biological] dad and my son talking sports. It’s family, it’s amazing.” – Kimi, Josephine’s host mom
