Who Are Our AYA Students?

September 23, 2015 AYA 1 Comment

Each year AYA accepts over hundreds of students to participate in the Academic Year in America program. Our students are the best young “ambassadors” of their country. They have studied English for at last three years and have solid academic records. They also have a passion for cultural exchange, an eagerness to learn and a curiosity about the world and American traditions.

Our students are between the ages of 15 and 18 and are accepted to the AYA program after careful review of their applications. Our program only accepts students who show the maturity and desire for this unforgettable experience.

Our students come from dozens of countries all around the world and represent a diverse group of global teens:

AYA students arrive with their own spending money, full medical insurance and participate in Arrival Orientation in New York City. They are the best and brightest representatives of their country, and they all share a desire to become part of an American family.
