LC of the Month & LC of the Quarter: Phil B.

February 10, 2015 AYA Leave a Comment

Each month AYA students nominate why their Local Coordinator should be LC of the month. We also select an LC each quarter who truly represents our mission of bringing the world together. This month Phil was not only nominated for Local Coordinator of the month but also Local Coordinator of the quarter.

Phil has been a Local Coordinator and host father since 2013. He has equally divided his time between Local Coordinator and host dad responsibilities. Learn why Phil earned the double nomination from his student, Jihau from China and Ryan, Regional Director, AYA.

Phil is an amazing LC and has always made himself available even if it’s for the smallest of things. Whether it’s teaching us about American holidays or organizing AYA students to get together, he always puts out 100% of effort. I am so grateful for Phil and all the things big and small he has done for his students!

Phil is a very engaging and motivating LC who has done a wonderful job since joining the AYA team! Phil has created strong connections with his families and students and always provides a strong support system. He’s also reliable, hard working and does a wonderful job at promoting our program.
