Today is FLEX Appreciation Day! Join us in celebrating with current students, alumni, host families, schools, and all of the spectacular individuals behind the scenes who make the program such a success – including those at Academic Year in America (AYA) who work so hard to ensure that our FLEX students are enjoying their exchange year experience in the United States!
In honor of this day of recognition, we’d like to highlight some photos of one of our very own FLEX students, Katre. Katre is from Estonia and is currently living with her host parents, Allen and Janean, in Idaho. After arriving in early August, they headed to Colorado for a vacation in Estes Park where they hiked in Rocky Mountain National Park and toured Denver. Below are some pictures from their big adventures, plus a few more memories made thus far. #ThankYouFLEX for working with AYA and bringing the world together with us, one family at a time.
