Originally from Germany, this exchange student has truly embraced new experiences, fostered cross-cultural connections, and has left a lasting impact on her host family and community in Arkansas. “It is a pleasure to recommend Lotta from Germany for Student of the Month. Lotta consistently demonstrates the qualities of a model exchange student through her dependability, caring nature, and genuine enthusiasm for every aspect of her experience.
Lotta shows a strong sense of responsibility by completing tasks promptly, turning in required documents on time, and willingly volunteering to take on additional responsibilities. She is an eager and positive participant within her cluster, and she approaches her commitments at home and at school with maturity and dedication.
In addition to these strengths, one of Lotta’s most praiseworthy qualities is her perseverance through challenges. She sets thoughtful goals for herself, seeks support when needed, and develops a plan to accomplish them. Whether navigating homesickness, studying for a test on the U.S. states on her very first day of school, or helping with a community event, Lotta approaches each situation eagerly and with a true can-do attitude.
Her host family describes Lotta as a true joy to have in their home. They note that she is helpful, thoughtful, and fully engaged as a family member. She studies diligently, reads, plays games with the family, and values spending quality time together—something they deeply appreciate.
